⭐ To the Star
I am Zara,
13 years old, with countless ideas and even more imagination.
I love to draw, invent, shoot videos and laugh out loud. I love animals (especially mine!), I love Jumbo and I love creating little miracles out of nothing.
I like to observe the world in my own way - to discover, to try, to have fun. Sometimes it's harder, but I'm never bored.
This site is a part of me - here I share my favorite things, stories and smiles.
And if you stay with me a little longer, I'll tell you how I see the world - I really do. But we'll leave that for later. 😊
👁️ My view
Sometimes people ask me why I wear dark glasses even indoors or why I don't like bright light. The truth is that I see differently.
I was born with a disease called achromatopsia - a state that makes the world very bright and fuzzy for me. I can't see the colors and the small details elude me. Although I wear glasses with diopters, they can't help enough and when I wear them they help me to the point that I have 12% vision in my left eye and 5% in my right eye. Over time I have found that this is not a barrier to smiling, creating and living life to the full.
This is exactly why we created Starfish - to show that even when you see differently, you can still do amazing things.
My biggest irritant, especially in the summer.
Which cannot be corrected with glasses.
I don't see the colors like you do.
🪐 The first spark
And I, like the kids of my generation - spend some of my free time watching videos. I've never liked watching TV, probably because of my vision difficulties. When I was playing - I pretended I was shooting video and talking to my friends. And one day my mom and dad asked me if I wanted to make a channel...
From the heart to the world
Mom created this site and channel to share my world - not just with people who want to have fun, but with those who want to understand what it's like to be "different". Starfish is a way to tell stories without explaining ourselves. To smile without pretending. To shine - even when it's dark.

He loves to invent, create and look beyond the obvious.

Even when it's hard, she finds a reason to laugh.

Starlet doesn't hide - she shows herself for who she is.

Sometimes sensitive, sometimes determined - always genuine.

She doesn't just get by. She inspires.
